[Question] Alerts/Notifications bugged ?

So I just joined yesterday at sometimes my "Alerts" will still show (1), (2), (3), etc. even if I checked them and even clicked on them to go to the action they represent.

Is it a known issue or should I just try fixing it on my side as I most likely know how ?

@Aura I have the same fucking problem and staff didn't do anything, I reported it ages ago.. I have Alerts (5) all the time, well annoying.

@Fade : Looks like it's not just only on my side then. From what I can tell, it looks like the cache on their end isn't refreshing when someone checks its notifications or they don't verify it server-side. Or maybe a poor implementation client-side, who knows.

Probably poor implementation, as I've had this problem for over 6 months now. :/

Over 6 months ? That's quite a lot ...
Hopefully the more the members will complain about it, the bigger are the chances that the fix it, lol.

Aura and @Fade , clear all of your alerts at once in a mass wipe and it should go away. PS @Fade grant me l33t,

Delete All Alerts via UserCP sidebar.

This is a normal thing, just delete all your alerts or they'll stay.

I have 478 alerts. They never go away. It's hell. Run whilst you can.

I had this problem at one point, but it hasn't happened to me in over a year or so.
Clear your alerts via UCP and hope it works next time.

As far as I know, its just a problem with the MyAlerts plugin in general, its happened to me on other forums before too.

@JPlusPlus : Ah gosh, I have no money to spend online. What are the field of applications of J++ ?
@Sanctuary : I'm on other forums having that plugin and a part in Internet Explorer, it works well on every browsers.
