I have a quick question on spaced gamertags. I always hear people saying "Oh, that tag will be worth alot when the reset comes." Does a spaced Gt automatically convert into its Non-Spaced form when the reset comes? Or can anyone Snag the non spaced? Im confused. I see alot of spaced Gts i really like and it would appreciate it if someone could fill me in. Thank you :)

No, it does not automatically turn into the unspaced version.

Here is what happens. A while back there was glitch in the gamertag creation system, in which it actually counted spaces as characters in gamertags. So basically, if someobyd owned "Kill", you coulc take K ill and it would be available. Now, since they have patched that glitch, the only spaced out OGs are the ones left. So, because spaces do not count as characters anymore, you cannot take the tag Po op if somebody owns Poop.

Because of that patch, when a gamertag gets reset for being unused for a ong period of time, if somebody owns a spaced version of that tag, they can pay 800 MSP and change their tag to that tag, but nobody else can because their spaced tag technically saves the spot for the reset.

I appreciate the info man. Everyone tells me mixed things but this seems pretty accurate. Also, I love your GT . I see you on many OG's Friends lists :)

It technically reserves the spot for the reset but wen the reset happens u cant go from K ill straight to Kill, U have to change to Kill4565 or something random then change to the og Kill, But while changing to a random tag, Someone can turbo and get the tag wen u change.
