I just gave Ecstasy kudos for posting on my thread, are kudos something that shouldnt be given out a lot? I felt like it was deserved. Also, how am I able to give reputation like I see people have?

Kudos is pretty underused, so it's good to give it out whenever you think it's appropriate.
And you need to upgrade before you can give rep.

Kudos are like a 'thank you', so if you think it's appropriate, it probably was.
As for rep, you need to be upgraded to give rep to someone else. So you would need to upgrade to Onyx.
