RE: [Quick tipTo prevent a virus

I don't know if it's safe to use online sites to scan files. I have AVG installed and that's enough (I think) to keep my computer protected.

Really just AVG is not enough, as AVG cant detect everything.
I would recommend downloading an anti-malware program, such as MalwareBytes, and an anti-spyware program, such as SUPERAntiSpyware - to use alongside AVG.

Thank you for the advise mate. I might look at it. I just have some doubts about it, but I think you're right. Thank you once again.

You must be really retarded to not trust these sites. They're awesome. They scan file that you uploaded with anout 40 different AV's. Do if you scan a file with it, the chance of getting a virus is minimal.

This is a quick tip about how to prevent your PC form being infected.

I always use online virus scanners before downloading any file from web.
Here are the links to some:

<a class=\"postlink\" href=\"http://www.virustotal.com\">http://www.virustotal.com</a>
<a class=\"postlink\" href=\"http://www.novirusthanks.org/\">http://www.novirusthanks.org/</a>

Hope i helped.
And discuss.

Instead u can use ur own antivirus .

This sites are normally used to giv proof's to ppl that the software they are posting is not a virus .

Anyway thanks

Actually it's a valid reason not to trust them and doesn't require you insulting them of a Mental illness.
Just watch how you talk to Users.

I have been using Symantect AV. Its simple and you can even download updates somewhere else and then install it in your computer.

Anyways, you cannot always rely on web scanners.
