Basically, to make it short.
i want to get my lip pierced. don't flame saying it looks bad or disgusting. its my choice.

but, of course my mom is being a -blank- about it.

What do you think i should do to convince her to let me get one?

you don't need a lip ring to answer this question.

Hm..
Tell her that you will help her around the house, or do some extra chores.
Don't nag her about it, because then you're just going to piss her off.
Try and keep it on the down low, as if you don't need it too bad, but you really do.

thats all i said. i asked her a long time ago and she said no. im almost at the point of me doing it by myself. [which i know is stupid.]

i understand her worrying about jobs for me because of it. but if i take it out, they can't not hire me because of a teeny tiny hole thats barely noticeable on the bottom of my lip.

i really don't know what shes thinking.

What ever you do don't do it your self, you'll have a terrible scar or something. Something always go wrong by self piercingsc, I pierced my ear and messed up. Have a trusted friend do it atleast.

yeah the only thing would be me getting grounded for life if my mother found out.

I'm sorry to say this but I kind of agree with your mother. They look horrible and you end up just playing with it.

Also if anything just go get it done and don't tell her you may get grounded for a week but oh well.

In all Seriousness? Your mother still thinks of you as her little baby. She doesn't want to let go of you ----_---- I would say "Mum, there are plenty of worse things than this. I could get into drugs, which i have been offered, but i have said no because i have always thought that life was worth living for. But if i can't get just one lip piercing, than i guess i was wrong:.

Yeah i convinced her to let me get an earring and allow me to stretch it. but i can't get one lip ring.
