Regarding Word Filter Evading

Each time someone is warned for Word Filter Evading, they tend to complain and whine stating that they didn't know. This thread will show you all the words that are disallowed. Using these words in your posts, signature, or threads will result in a 20% warning level issued for 2 weeks.

Disregard the red parts, they are just special characters that some Staff have in their names to make it easier to tag them.

Example, typing @ " Gr33d " with the 3's and without the space, will turn into @"Gr33d".

I don't see why some of the offensive terms are blocked.... I really don't see NlG as being offensive as it isn't even a word.... People say it as a term like buddy... this site is becoming like my old school internet.... Stop this nonsense haha. On the other hand I can see how every other word would be blocked. I am wondering why the other forum words are blocked? Is it because they aren't allowed to advertise?

Agreed,why aren't the words cracker,whitey,hillbilly, and redneck blocked.

Because the previous owner of MF sold it to Philly and then jacked it back from Philly and legitly sold it to @"Fresh Prince"

Yeah I don't see why not... Philly should at least allow N*g. The terms you just spoke are hilarious hahahahaha oh man it would be a shame if we were to lose those.

The blacklist turns blacklisted websites into www.forumkorner.com. Thank you for this clarification, Michael! Hopefully people will stop using variations of homosexual terms in a derogatory manner!

The website url automatically changes to ForumKorner.com. I am not sure what it is that you are on about.

I don't think cracker should be put on the list, since the word is most likely going to be used as what it means to be, rather than the racial slur itself.

Also, in what scenario do you see the tweens on FK talking about food crackers? If n-word-ga is banned, which isn't even racist to black people, why not cracker? It's far more derogative than n-word-ga.

What you're saying makes poor sense, sorry.

If the N word isn't racist to people of colour, then why has it been banned in the first place? If people of colour weren't too concerned about the word and didn't consider it as racist, then the admins/mods wouldn't have felt the urge of banning the word altogether.

Now, I'm not defending either of those slurs/words, since they can be used in different contexts and meanings. The only reason why I pointed out the word cracker was only for it's general use, and not because I somehow felt like it had a more degrading meaning than the other. In what position can you define the word cracker has a more derogative meaning than the N word? You can't, since it's all a matter of perception and perspective, something that is subjective to each individual, and not objective.
