Religion, Psychedelics and Society

So I recently came across something very interesting on the internet. And sure maybe not all religions have been founded through this but I do believe some of them have been. This article said that some historians believe that a portion of the religions that exist today were founded on a Psychedelic trip. Now if you know anything about Psychedelics you would know that man has been taking them since the stone age. I personally believe that not only have a lot of religions been founded through this, but Psychedelics are the key to reconstructing society. Psychedelics such as mushrooms, acid, or LSD break the boundaries. They make us not only look at ourselves from a different point of view, but make us think about where society is going and what we need to do as a human race. (This is for me of course, but I am sure some of you have thought about it wether you have done Psychedelics or not.) And I believe that these Psychedelics are the key to our future. These are the only thing in this world that can literally open our minds, they help us unlock a certain percentage of our mind that not only did we not know exist, but from that ideas and different perspectives come from that. I would love to hear some opinions on this and I don't mean everyone has to do Psychedelics what I mean is that we as a human race should continue to study them, (In America we have stopped studying them, or at least the government has "said they have") and from this studying and all that we can learn and one day hopefully change how society is, and the path it is going down. For anyone that is interested in this kind of talk I would recommend checking out JRE or the Joe Rogen Experience its an amazing podcast on Youtube. But I would defiantly love to hear some opinions on this.

I disagree. Not much good has come from religion to be honest. Religion has brought death and anger for no reason whatsoever. Psychedelics may open the mind to very abstract ideas, but it does not make you think clearly and logically.

I never said religion brings good. To be honest I think religion is the worst thing to ever come to the world. But Have you ever done Psychedelics? And I mean really done them? Depending on what you have done and your trip, my trips have been extremely clear thinking. All I think about is just how fucked up society is and idk lol its hard to explain but its insane and I think there should honestly be schools set up around the US where people can go and learn about these psychedelics and then from that once they graduate they have the option to take them and from that people can learn. And this would help society a lot I think.
