Religious Leaders Enjoy More Popularity and Luxury than The Scientists in India !!!

Unfortunately in India because of illiteracy and vested interest of educated people, the religious leaders are enjoying more popularity and luxuries than hard working scientists. In fact several scientists in India have got committed suicides because ofthe frustration! This is really a pathetic condition and people should realise the importance of these hard working scientists and their valuable contribution to the society and give them respect deserved by them. Government should also come forward in this aspect! Does any other country in the World have similar situation like India? Kindly rspond! Thanks !:What:

ya ofcourse in india that is popular you can see any religion leader when he was caught he is having a lot of funds which is cannot affordable by many ministers

for me , the main reason why most people in India are still are at the back nowadays , they believe more in religious type of news rather than logical presentation of science. Those religious leader are being rich and popular because many stupid people are still supporting them and giving them money .In the other cases , many scientist who had success never had the chances to be rich thus changing their destiny to serve US and other countries which give them money and names.

India has high degree of corruption and these corrupt political leaders are worth nothing but accumulating wealth.they fetch blood from the poor people and feed themselves.they are busy thinking about themselves leaving only a bunch of politicians who actually fight for the welfare of general people.

you are right AK lot of people are interested in giving respect and know about the religious leaders who are not good in their characters, but most of them don't know about the good scientist in our country, this is really a great misery of our country
