1)Open command prompt. Go to Windows, then Run, and type "cmd" . Press enter.

2)Type "cd\" and press enter to get to the root directory of c:\ .

3)Type "attrib -h -r -s autorun.inf" and press enter.

4)Type "del autorun.inf" and press enter.

5)Repeat the same process with other drives, type "d:" and do the same thing. then next "e:".and restart your computer.

6)Restart your computer and it's done. Enjoy the freedom to open hard drives on a double click.
 
Well, you could just create a autorun.inf folder in every drive. And henceforth, you won't need to remove the autorun.inf file, which isn't a virus actually.

When you create a folder named autorun.inf, a new file with the same name cannot be created there. So, you will be safe. Infact, do it with your pendrive as well. And more or less, your computer will be free from viruses. Or Just disable autorun through registry or gpedit.msc .
 
this virus give us a lot of problems last month..

I just know this trick .... but I've got their own way to deal with the virus ...
 
Yeah,its not a virus.,you can disable it with usb security..
 
If you're talking about autorun viruses you can just download the Panda USB Vaccine.
