I was one of the very first users to have the award and after reporting over 800+ posts I don't think any of them were invalid or not worthy of being reported. Why remove it? Because it's rare to get? Or because you can't get it? Imho, this award is a way of showing how helpful you're towards the staff & shows a positive attitude from users, although I find it quite ironic that a few users with past record of warning level have it.
