Rep Suggestion

Okay this might be stupid it might not be. I was thinking that new users to this site should be allowed to give other users rep but only +1 or -1. I was only thinking this to increase the activity to this site. Most users take the time to register but once they want to upgrade a user they can and most people don't have the money or drive to pay for an upgrade. I don't know if most of you agree with me but I think this might be a good idea to keep activity because, users have somewhat equality to us upgraded members. Or even that if users want to give more rep they will have to pay $4 for each increment. For example if they want to give users +2 or -2 they will have to pay philly $4 for the one more rep and then 3=8, 4=12, 5=16. Somewhat near the onyx requirement. Most users wont be paying for the cost just to rep more users and once they have paid all $16 they would probably just pay the $2 rest for the upgrade. Somewhat of a payment plan is also being suggested because again most users don't have $18 with them but most of them probably have $4. Most users drive to have high rep and I think this will give them a chance to reach that rep goal of theirs, and to make a name for themselves. Again just suggestions HMU with what you think guys.

I'd support it if trolls and people who abuse rep didn't exist

Hopefully they don't add this Rep is stupid , and if normal users could give rep someone could get you rep fucked so easily

I believe someone will just abuse the rep. Making multiple accounts and -rep or rep boosting users.

The amount of 2nd accounts that would be made just to fuck with kids rep will be huge.
But I think we need to lower the amount were allowed to give. Kids with 1300 rep with only like 200 active members is retarded.

I think that this should be implemented but they can only give like 2 reps a day. I don't think anymore would be necessary until they would upgrade.

i personally dont think this would be implemented because no one would want to pay to give someone reputation, so it would never be used.

I disagree with this suggestion. Because new users shouldn't have the power to give reputation. That's the whole point of upgrading. Plus, most new users end up upgrading.

I don't agree with this, it takes away from the idea of upgrading your account.
