It would be better to disable reputation for posts as that is what the 'Like' system is for.

Don't you think?
Also only let users rate a member once.

I personally like to have both systems.

If I had to choose though, I'd probably go with the reputation system. It is easier to keep track of.

I think we should keep both systems, but move that liked post count from the post, to the users profile.

"The beliefs or opinions that are generally held about someone or something."

I would consider a post "something".

I think likes are better, it's something different than other forums using MyBB as reputation is always used.
