i pray the holy rosary on a regular basis. It is not necessary that the beads should be gem. The truth is that the rosary helps in preventing the mind to be distracted by negative thoughts. It is very useful in meditation.
not that but i dont used to pray rosary and I dont even get to pray those kinda holy books coz i dont have enough time to dedicate myself to those holy books.
