I've made like ~150k in total from thieving. You can try that. Although if you get a high runecrafting level and make laws or something, you'll be rich too.

Try merching, although there could be many number of things in that some items are ridiculously easy to make profit on, at the moment I'm buying bulk addy scimitars for 12/13k each from different suppliers depending who is online and selling them for 15k within 10 minutes, it's working out about 200k+ an hour for me and with more money means I can buy more scims at a time, equaling in more profit. The prices are changing a lot though so don't just depends on addy scims, that was just an example.
