Rugged dirty Timberlands vs Fresh Clean ones

This thread is more for those people who care a tad about fashion. I'm not too big into it, but I've also loved Timberlands even before they got this big. I have 2 pairs of boots, one pair which I've owned for about 7 years and still fit me. They're dirty as hell, have a lot of ash/coal/dirt stains, and are pretty torn up. They look like I worked in them, and I did. I did a lot of shit with these boots. I also own a pair of brown boots boots, a pair I recently bought and they look nice and clean. Fresh. But what style do you prefer? Some want their boots to look rugged, others want fresh. What do you guys think is better?

I prefer my boots to look worn down and rugged and the color faded and stuff. I don't really like the look of brand new boots.

I don't own timberlands, but I prefer my shoes to be fresh/clean(except for certain pairs), since when I was a kid I could only get 1 pair a school year so I made sure to make mine last

I must say I agree with this. Despite my nice new pair, I seem to wear my older ones more often. But I could go either way...

but I think I'm going to slowly destroy my brown boots over time to make them look badass....

Yeah, I don't know its just something about Tims that I like when they look worn down and have marks and stuff.

Now if we're talking about regular shoes, it would be a different story. But for Tims, for sure worn down.

I prefer my boots to last for what I'm using them for. Been doing construction for going on 3 years with the same pair of shitty boots.

Looks are just ehh, more for swagfags.

What boots are those? I have Red Wing boots for construction and they wear kinda fast.

Rugged and dirty looks nice on boots, clean boots are just weird.

any shoe for me always looks better worn than pristine

not like worn really dirty but you can see some wear
obv you don't want to beat the shit out of it and still make it last a v long time

really watching your every step so you don't get a spec of dirt on your shoe makes you look like a retard imo

i have designer shoes in natural/white and trust me, they look much better worn than out of the box.
I do clean and keep them up though from time to time
