Run-time error on internet explorer

Has anyone "run into" this problem in Internet Explorer? My mom is having some computer difficulties. One of the neighborhood kids were messin' around with the itnernet and programs, and for some reason now IE closes with an error message of a "run time error" and it forces IE to close. Can I just uninstall and re-install this? Or is there some program to add or some way to fix this?!

you may try to uninstall then install as I think run time error shows bcoz of some dlls are missing or corrupted so uninstall it with PU and install

I agree with rob50, you can try reinstall it. but sometimes virus/trojan may cause this problem too. have you scan it yet ?

Yap may be ur ie has crashed. I have a good suggestion. Stop using IE its the most slowest browser ever. I dont like it instead use chrome.
