Welcome to the 4th edition of the RG News. @"Mirage" is out on vacation, and as thus, I'll be handling the writing this time around.
Holiday Names
Several people have already begun to show their Christmas spirit by changing their names to a holiday figure. So far we have:
Famous™ - @"Santa"
Sideswipe - @"Vixen"
Mike - @"Blitzen"
Pixy - @"Rudolph"
Daniel Faraday - @"Buddy"
Cannabinol - @"Drunk Santa"
@"Zach" - has been banned for "being an asshole" after he took a joke a little too far.
@"Immortality" - Immortality takes the job of being the only other notable ban. I hope he has a good break.
@"AaronOliver1993" - Some of you may not know him, but Aaron was banned by Mike with the reason, "Didn't you say you were leaving this site with 4 threads... I think it's time you keep your word." Ironically, it's not a permanent ban.
@"Win All Day" - WAD has also requested a vacation ban, let's wish him luck and safety.
@"Carbon" - Carbon has returned to us, but it doesn't seem like he's back in full swing yet.
@Multiply's Pet - Multiply's Pet has also made his return. Be sure to check out his thread and leave your welcome.
It seems like scamming is becoming less and less common these days. The only one this week was resolved swiftly, and it didn't seem to attract much anger from onlookers. Hopefully @"nehkz" and @"Error 403 - forbidden" can work out their differences without too much trouble.
Buddy: Thanks for taking the time to do this interview. Is there anything you would like to begin with?
Blitzen: No, not neccesarily. Although you better spell check me.... Other than that, thanks for selecting me for the interview.
Buddy:You don't have any shout-outs or anything else of that sort?
Blitzen: Well, I guess... I'd uhm... Like to thank my mom and dad for giving birth to me.... Oh and the RuneGear.net community for being active and posting around. You guys truly are epic. I don't want to single people out because some may get offended
Buddy: Then I guess we'll jump right to it. What do you think of The Elite's choice to remove the award you added?
Blitzen: Well, it wasn't that big of a deal, I asked him why and he just said it's not needed. The music section isn't that active so I guess he was right. Some people were sad, but they quickly got over it when they saw the swagger award.
Buddy: That leads me to think that he chose you because of your opposition. Do you happen to agree, and if so, why?
Blitzen: Well, I find that the award would bring more traffic to the music section. I treat music as another language of communication. Sometimes you can't express yourself with words but you can with music. It would of been a great award, but it's a shame.
Buddy: I guess that means yes.
Blitzen: I do infact, when people have different views they may bicker at first but they will come to a conclusion that's beneficial to both parties. It shows both the highs and lows of the sides and is a good thing to have when working.
Buddy: It's good to see that you hold The Elite in such high regards. I take it you enjoy your position, then?
Blitzen: Of course I enjoy my position, it's very fun talking/meeting new members daily. Me and The Elite are good friends and have worked together for a long time now. He takes my word as seriously as I take his.
Buddy: Do you two have any specific plans that you could share with us?
Blitzen: Not at the moment, what we want to do is meant to be kept private for the time being. I will inform members what will happen in the future though.
Buddy: I hoped you would have cracked right there. Well, do you have any hopes for the near future?
Blitzen: Have some fun and add some new awards. That is all I can say for now. members of RuneGear will slowly start to see change and you will all see what I meant.
Buddy: It sounds like something forward to. Hopefully the higher ups all invest in the movement forward. Do you think the members will take part in and enjoy the updates?
Blitzen: Only time will tell, I cannot see into the future nor change the past. If members will enjoy it is not within my prediction capabilites. The news awards I will be adding will be fun ones though. They should have fun trying to achieve those.
Buddy: Well, I think I've pushed you far enough, are there any closing comments you'd like to let loose?
Blitzen: Enjoy the new writing position. You've shown you can handle it with ease and professionalism.
To all the members, Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas. I hope you all have a great month.

With Christmas coming up soon, one can only wonder about the questions involved. What do I want? What will I give to others? Nate has taken the first step and begun to ask what other people think they'll get for Christmas. So, RG, what do you want for Christmas? (Thread Here)
