It would be near impossible to buy out the entire rune scimitar stock, even if every active RG member pooled their money together.

Hm, This sounds good imna go ahead and buy a bunch haha. I use them for pking on my Pure anyways so i already have about 20.

It's not about buying the entire stock, the price is bound to go back up. I mean look at the past 5 years of RS. It was like 30k, then 20k, then like 15k, then 20k, then 30k, etc. It's always been jumping around even without people buying it out. My guess is that other clan will also notice this and buy mass amounts.

There are over 890M Rune scims, you have to buy out at least 45% of them to gp up at least 10%.

This isn't going to happen.

I seen people with a lot more money than this community has try to merch and fail epicly. That's why I never participate in these things.

I'm not an expert mercher so I can't really comment but to be honest, I don't think they'll go back to 30k. I'm going to wait a little longer and then buy like 200 for return sets.

I'm not saying they are going to 30k. I'm saying that they ARE going to go up no matter what, and when they do, we make lots of profit. the more you buy, the more youget back. Buy 1000 and if it goes up 6k, you make like 6-7m, for absolutely no work. and thats only 6k
 
I don't like gambling my gold, there is no guarantee it will go back up. Like the car company GE it was steady until it abruptly went bankrupt. This could be one of those bankruptcies.
 
If people are buying them, then how come I stuck mine on GE a week ago and they're miles above the price now.

I totally agree with Epik... this can be a huge gamble for people that invests all there gold in rune scims. (play it smart and be safe!)

Go look at tinder boxes. They used to be 3-5gp each. They are now around 30.

Yes, but other merching clans have noticed this, as I used to be part of a huge merch clan that at the time were buying loads of them. The fact of the matter is, the price ALWAYS goes up. I've been playing RS since I was 8, and rune scim prices jump everywhere.
