I don't think it's really necessary, but it'd be a nice addition.

Not a necessary addition and I think it should only be used for staff members.

I would like to have a @runegear.net for a business email for the forum.
So i can put it on my forum publicly, because my other emails aren't so public.

I say only staff members should receive it as many may use it as a symbol of trust and scam.

This.

Staff should only be allowed to get an email, or the highest donation rank.

The staff, and donors have already been discussing this. As of the matter of this going through we don't know yet.

It could be used as an act of scam pretending to be admin or something.

If it does follow through, The Elite can redirect mail. Let's say it goes through, and I get [email protected], I'm pretty sure The Elite would be wise enough to have some sort of sticky saying "Only trust verified RuneGear emails, others are phony." Because when you register for an msn, you need to verify you own the email. So The Elite can forward the mail from your requested @Runegear.net email to your own so you can verify it during purchase.

Problem solved.
I would love @runegear.net to use on MSN, and I don't typically use MSN anymore.
This would help sellers too, to make sure they're talking to the right person when selling/buying :D

It could not be used as an "act of scamming" that's ridiculous. If you see an @'name of site here'.net email for an msn, and get scammed because you think it makes them trusted and you go first, you probably deserved it.
