For the last 2 weeks, I've been discussing with a successful web-developer and entrepreneur, Glen Hughes. We've been planning the path we take with the website, where it can go and what it can achieve. Anyway, tonight the trade commenced and it seems to have been an extremely successful and simple trade, with complete trust from both parties simplifying it. Once I receive the money within my bank account tomorrow, the site will be owned and managed by @"Glen Hughes".
A bit about him: To be honest, I've spoken to him for just under 2 weeks and honestly think he's a perfect manager for the website, and a down-to-Earth and extremely friendly business partner and friend. What more is the fact that he maintains complete faith in increasing the revenue of the website, increasing user enjoyment and ultimately increasing site traffic. He's taking the website under his wing with amazing plans, and has told me some of these. This gives me greater enjoyment for my next announcement.
Now, I've got an even greater announcement. Glen has requested of me to stay on the website as the community manager, doing what I do today, just with less 'saying-power' :wink_tongue:. He is not planning on changing every portion of the website, even stating that it'll stay how it is just with a greater amount of features and money backing it. I'll be here to stay and so will the rest of the Management team. I'd like to say that this is a fantastic time for Rune Gear, with a great owner, 2 experienced community managers and 2 amazing Administrators.
I hope this doesn't come as a shock to many of you, and I hope you all support Glen and the RG Management team as we strive to make this a greater-than-ever forum for you, to maximise your enjoyment when spending time here.
