I'm planning to do a contest soon, the prize(s) being two

The thing is, I'm not sure what kind of contest I want to host!

Posting contest will just bring spam.
Nomination, friends vote for friends.
I think lottery is the most fair one.

Could try doing referrals or for the lottery have the members that would want to take part in it have to gain a certain amount of posts within a time limit.

Lottery seems to be the fairest out of all them at the moment.

I think it should be lottery and I also think that Ninja is on the right track. The lottery should have something else to it to make it more than just guessing numbers.

I think I am the master guesser around here. But you are lucky that I can't participate in contests! So I guess I am willing to pass down my master guessing skills and master guesser title to you, my best bud Deathwish.

I personally think a posting contest with high requirements (spam = ban) would be good. It would breath some life into this slow moving forum. But because lottery has the most votes, I hope it wins.

None of it is spam & and I've never gotten close to winning a posting contest unlike everyone else lol.
