I never admitted to scamming. you know why i never admitted to scamming? because I have never scammed anyone... on the internet. cant say I've never scammed a chick and told her the burger was 10 bucks instead of 7 to get me a candy bar after work eh?

We all decide what we want for Rune Gear, Management takes it into consideration. Ash, just stop your bitching, it's making my knees hurt. No one cares about all the negativity you think/post. You want Rune Gear to be better, while you keep making insulting/low quality/flaming/nonsense posts/threads? How about for a starter, you clean up your act and then we can all decide what we want, even though there is already a thread open, and changes are already happening, basically RG is going through puberty, something you haven't hit yet.

I like you, I don't think you have said anything negatively to me about all this scam and lying shit going on lately, so I give you a cookie for being a real person with a brain(or just not caring).

Any more posts that are not related to the post, e.g:

• Flaming
• Nonsense
• Low Quality
• Off Topic
• Spam

will be junked, and authors will be limited/warned.

I believe you should buy advertisements at other forums / runescape releated sites... Like sythe for an example? If they sell ads, go for it.

The activity has gone down because of two main things:
* Bot Nuke
* Runescape lost activity

So people quit runescape also means they quit going to runescape releated forums, nothing we can do about it.

So my suggestions is:
*Buy ads on other sites/forums.
*Make contests, No silly contests like Post contests, choose a number... Be creative!
*Start handing out warnings to all the trolls/LQ posters/Scammers etc etc.
*if you haven't already done it then make some sections of the forum only viewable by members will also higher the members registered.. Sections like : Runescape hacks, dumps.. Also all links in every section should only be viewable by members.

Ive read every post on this forums, and i can tell you one thing. It is nothing but people trolling and flaming members, this in turn makes those HQ posters post less thus bringing down activity. You crack down on that and you'll get some activity back. Now I am leaving for about two months but I will be away from home for 9 months. This forum has a ton of potential but you cant let it get out of hand early. Its like a child, if it grows up without enforced rules and strict guidelines then when its a grown up it will not get any better. Trollers, Flamers, and scammers need to be dealt with swiftly and efficiently just as the spam bots are. Now we have great staff here, Mike is one of the most personable admins I have ever met. He talks to me on skype daily about nothing and everything. Personable staff makes for a good forums. Chewy he added me on skype and xbox just because I asked him to. TE now we havnt talked much since I left HF and you started this forums full time, but I know that even for a busy person as yourself you still make time to entertain my sometimes dumb questions on msn and the forums. Now I may not be the best poster or even most HQ poster on this forums but I do read just about every post and every rep given. These are just my thoughts take it or leave it

For example, The Elite tried to do the posting contest for one last time, everyone cried about people posting a lot (It wasn't even LQ) and the community wanted it gone, so he did it and people cried about a fake contest.

Honestly, I don't get why everyone blames staff/management. We can only do so much to make this place better, but it is you guys who make up the community. It is you guys what makes a forum better.

We had a posting contest before. That went bad. And The Elite knew new posting contest will fail.

Runescape community's like this are getting harder to maintain. The game is just bleh.
