I was wondering if it would be a good idea to have a rank for people that hit maybe, 2k+ posts on the forum?


As where it says RG Elite, Angels, or Exalted, maybe it can say, "RG's Finest"?

Or just as another whole group?
 
Great suggestion, Group should be called "RuneGear Veteran"
 
i dont agree, we already have the awards system AND the medals system, thats just too far.

You're not a veteran for having high amount of posts. That would be for people like me ;) that were here before RG was even MADE haha.
 
How can you be HERE before RG was made?....
 

Because I was apart of Runescape Forums in which Carbon made, and they just merged databases so yea.

A good concept but a bad idea to make it awarded upon 2k posts.. this would encourage more spamming and low quality posts; perhaps once they reached a certain reputation instead?
 
Good idea, but not 2k posts. Maybe 5k? Reputation means nothing tbh..


Or, how about there's just a group and when the leader (The Elite or someone) thinks you have enough HQ posts, you're accepted?

Yeah, good idea but on top of that, you need to be either elite rank or sponsor or have a donation award of some sort

Look at Automatic Coding for example... Need I say more?

I think we should stick with Dreclin's thread for now as it seems more promising than a group based on how much you can spam posts around the forum.
 

You weren't a part of RuneGear before it was made, you were a part of Runescapeforums which is now non-existent.
RuneGear was registered a month or two before Runescapeforums, just so you know.

I don't think it should, because otherwise people will just hold out until they reach 2k posts to get a rank, rather than giving $5 to get RG Elite.
