Hi, I bet your wondering, what is a sandbox?
Sandboxes run your programs in an isolated space which prevents them from making permanent changes to other programs and data in your computer.

Why is this useful?
Virus detection, if you are wondering if something is a virus, just run it with a sandbox and see what it tries to modify, if your suspicious, don't run the program without a sandbox!

Why didn't I think about writing this? Very useful post, good for those who haven't heard of sandboxie before.

I would probably waste more time on grammar checks on a tutorial than on a post.

As a security addict, this guide is way to short. This is not what you should do to TEST files. Many virus programs can BYPASS Sandboxie and so forth. The best thing to do is get yourself a Virtual Machine.

Sandboxie has become too outdated, 99% of malware now has a sandboxie bypass feature
