I'll happily give up the upgrade if the staff desires so, it was mis-communication when he bought me the upgrade because I didn't want him to buy it for me.

I said if you asked me for proof i would show it. Here is the proof that @family sent me the money back and asked me to upgrade him to onyx. He also said he wouldn't pull back the account.
I guess the reason he hasn't been upgraded to onyx is because he's changed his username.
So you bought the username and bought him Onyx and he then hacked the account back knowing you could not backcharge the upgrade or you would be banned.
I understand what your saying and I agree @"Philly" should return the money, but that's his choice.
