scammed? not sure

so i had an account that i didnt want on instagram. 62k. sold it to a guy i thought i could trust for 300$. He sent a pic showing it was sent but i never received the money.
did he scam or is this a technical glitch?

If it says it's sent then you should go on the paypal or however it was sent and accept the payment..

Check your email, if it was sent you would have automatically gotten an email from PayPal.

It can be a fake sent, people use image whatever I forget and make false payments.. Someone tried scamming me like this.

It was likely a scam then try getting account back
