Scamming scammers?

Do you consider this morally wrong? I've never scammed anybody and I wouldn't even scam a scammer but what do you guys think?

I actually asked around on opinions on this. Whether you scam a scammer, you'll still become a scammer < Pretty much everyones response.

Now my question is..

What if you scam the scammer for something he scammed you for?

A year ago I would've agreed with this. But recently I've thought it's just not the right thing to do. Not to mention that if somebody killed your mum in real life, yes you would like to seek revenge but killing him just throws away 3 lives instead of 1. Just let justice and karma take it's cause.

Don't even think about scamming a scammer even if you get the opportunity. You could eventually scam a bunch of scammers and get hooked on it, which will result in you going out with a bang.

Well, the premise is that scamming is wrong. So, if you scam a scammer, you are making a hypocrite of yourself and you lose moral authority.

Say for example I bought a Gamertag that cost me roughly $350, and I lost it shortly after, I would scam it back in a heartbeat if the opportunity arose, knowing good and well I would be banned from FK, and labeled as a scammer. Tbh, I couldn't give a fuck less. That's just how I see it.

Edit: probably should have mentioned I wouldn't scam a new owner, just the person that fucked me over.
