School And Life Problems?!

Well this will be a rant, this is not going to be well written at all

tl;dr - I hate school, i want to to do good but i just can't. It's hard for me, my school isn't a good inviorment for me learning is what my conclusion is i think. I Can't do school anymore. What do i do?

Well lately i havn't been able to wake up for school, like i would wake up but i wouldn't wanna get outta bed at all, it is heart wrenching to get outta bed and go to school. Don't get me wrong it has always been hard to go to school just because i don't like it so much. But it's just getting so hard that i almost don't care anymore. I still wanna do good in school and get a good job and live a happy life and such, just school isn't the place for me. There is to much stress and anxiety in my everyday life. But i do have a rather good life, i mean..i do have a girl, i have some pretty good friends..i have high self-estiem. I just need something else, i can't do regular school anymore, maybe i need to go to some kind of trade school that i've heard about, you only have school 3 days a week then 2-4 days you work but its connected with your school but it would cost a lot of money to go to a school like that, so it would come out of my College money but im thinking if i don't go to a school like that i might not go to a College at all because i won't want school anymore. Maybe i just need a vaction, like get outta the state you know? i havn't been outta state to somewhere i enjoy a lot since thanksgiving (texas) . I really wanna go back to Colorado though, it's my favorite place in the world and i wanna snowboard there before the seasons over. I am failing school because i don't have any good motivation, like my mom and teachers push me to doing good but i just can't, maybe it has to do with runescape i don't know. I just need some advice on what to do, i don't wanna get truencie for not going to school but im afraid that's what it might come to or something worse.

That's what I did before I left school.

Wait till you get into a good mood, then tell yourself "I love school with all of my heart, I'll have the best year from now on." Positive reinforcement really helps.

im in a good mood on the weekends but i can't convince myself to love school, it's just not possible.

It is possible. Do you have friends at school? I didn't mean that to sound mean, but friends really help. I suffered from severe depression and didn't want to go to school. I even skipped my junior year. But, with the help of friends I went back the next year and had a great time.

Yeah i have 3 or 4 really good friends but i'm like im friendly with everyone pretty much. my friends don't wanna be in school either though, my ex bestfreind(lol) is like in alternative school now (all the druggies go there) and my other best friends takes voteck (where he goes off school grounds and learns a trade for half the day) and then i only have a good friend in one of my classes but the teacher is a dick and seperated us so i don't do shit in the class (computer applications) and my friend in that class hates school too..

What grade are you in?

Im a junior, i've strugled all through highschool though, i have like a 1.5 GPA >.< if that tbh..maybe 1.7.

My grades were really crappy as well. I eventually dropped out of High School and got my G.E.D, let me tell you it's not fun. I hate that I never finished, it'll always be something you regret if you go through with it. You only have 1 1/2 years left so, just go with the flow. Get in the rhythm of things and you'll start to enjoy it, or get a point of reference as I'll call it. Find something you really really enjoy about school and just look forward to it everyday.

I used to look forward to watching band of brothers and the pacific after school everday, but that just made me day dream about WWII and stuff, idk there is nothing to look forward to in school, and i don't wanna drop and and get my G.E.D. because all the people i know that have drop'd out and pland on getting there G.E.D. havn't or they have but there still drug addicts or failures and don't do anything with your life (i only know 5 people that have dropd out) and i don't wanna be in that catigory, i think thats what people will think of when they see a G.E.D.

I know what you mean, I didn't want to be lumped into that category either and I didn't want my education level to stop there. I'm currently a college student and loathe every class except for my Civilization class. That's what I look forward too as well as my classes next year. I'm sure you could find something to like, hell even a hot teacher you look forward to seeing every day.

i have no hot teachers, there all guys..well no i have a student teacher in 1st block that is hot and im interested in the class, but then we have to go on the web and do this stupid shit and i'm just like...uhh nah..and half the time im up till 3am and don't go to first block anyway...soo..

At my rate, I will fail my grade level and will have to repeat.

i had the same issue, no motivation whatsoever, i did end up graduating high school last year.
when i was at school it was fine but the whole thought of it was stressing.

i had a fair few days off, guess that helped.

Change your whole mindset of school, instead of seeing it as going to learn to do boring work and putting up with teachers, or waiting for the day to end.

see it as socialising, and seeing friends, you like to see friends on week end right?
well do the same for school.

Honestly i was a freshman for three years got kicked out and did this home schooling course that took 3 weeks now i have a diploma and everythings all good. ^^ (if you want the easy route.)

my mom won't home school me..
