In this thread, I will discuss suggestions and ideas that I believe will make ForumKorner a better place. I have looked a larger forums and pondered beneficial ideas, and concluded what aspects of them ForumKorner should use to make things more efficient, organized and give it a more professional appearance.
Sub-forum Appearance If there's more than four sub-forums in a section, the following sub-forums shouldn't appear hidden, it should appear in a third column instead.
Headers The header of the first portion of the general section should be renamed to ForumKorner Official Information. The second header of the section could use an adjustment, perhaps, General & Off Topic Discussion if to change.
Services & Requests The Services & Requests section's title is misleading to users and needs to be refitted. The title implies that paid graphic services and paid graphic requests are allowed. However, this section is actually only for free graphic services and free graphic requests, hence the title should be renamed. Perchance, Free Graphics with a description as so.
The hyperlink will redirect them to Graphics Market which is in the marketplace forum. This simple adjustment will be very helpful and keep the Graphics section more organized.
Upgrade I don't understand exactly what the point of this forum is, but it appears very pointless. Probably should be discontinued since all it does it hyperlink you to upgrade.php.
Scammers Bay
Forum & Sub-forum Descriptions I've spotted a lot of rules within the descriptions. They're not for rules, they're for describing what the forum or sub-forum is for. I'll happily
Kudos Received We should receive an alert when someone gives another user a kudos.
Tabs
- Our Networks A tab should be made to replace the Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube tabs.
- Youtube The Youtube tab should be renamed YouTube.
- FK Koins The FK Koins slot of the More tab should be renamed to just simply Koins, it's quite obvious they're for ForumKorner.
Preview Post The preview post option portrays an inaccurate preview of what the post will look like. In the preview, it doesn't show one's koins nor awards.
Grammar I've spotted a plethora of grammatical mistakes throughout the site. Here's the errors I found with corrections:
