I have a feeling this has been requested many times before, I just think it would be good for upgraded members. They can close and open their thread whenever they want. It may reduce useless topics being posted. If, let's say, a giveaway a member hosted was over. They could close it but then when they want to open it again with a new giveaway, they are able to do so with a new title and rename it and just bump it to the top. Also some threads produce a lot of flaming and spam so members want to have the option to close a thread if it gets too OT.
