This is probably the wrong section, my bad if it is.
I just need to talk to some well known people that know what they're doing and have been selling/buying for some time online.
I have some upcoming Social Medium sells that would go for a fair price and I want to make sure to stay safe and not get scammed. My selling/buying will be dealt over paypal (which I have heard many problems about chargebacks, etc) So if anyone is familiar with paypal and knows tips to stay as straight foward with a deal and assure of no bullshit chargebacks. Safest way would be to get moneypak and get @Philly to redeem it to your paypal he does charge a fee but you will not get scammed also make sure you use a middleman pm me if you need more help I have sold and bought a lot off of this site

I've seen someone use two paypals and make them send it to "2nd" one and then from the second one they send it to their main idk how affective that is though.

Honestly the best way to avoid chargebacks is to have the buyer leave a note that they understand they are purchasing virtual items, be sure to keep logs of ALL conversations. Screenshots of conversations normally make it nearly impossible to lose a chargeback. On rare occasions will you lose with proper proof.

I think it helps if you have the buyer add a note when they send the money. But there's always a chance at a charge back.

Actually, this is not true.

Since the sales of virtual items is prohibited by the companies that own them (i.e. Microsoft owns all the gamer tags and email accounts, Facebook owns all IG accounts, twitter owns all of the @'s, and so on).
So, actually putting in the notes that someone is buying a virtual item other than something that is not a username, technically will not help you at all, and in fact, may be used against you.
I learned this the hard way. The best way to keep people from charging back is actually paying for "goods and services" because of PayPal's "Buyer and Seller Protection" policies. If you sell/buy something using goods and services, and paying that scummy $.30 tax, you have a better chance of getting your money back if someone does decide to charge back on a deal.
