[SELLING] TTGv4 (TheTechGame) Skin

$120 for 1 copy? Over-priced if you ask me..
Good luck selling this though. You should consider fixing the nav bar and tcat-left btw.

I don't think anybody will buy this here are my reasons:

Nobody wants to be see as a TTG rip-off and copycat.
It's clearly ripped, How can you sell a ripped theme?
It's way over priced you can buy better custom themes for less.

Thanks, Good luck lower the price though.

I'd buy it for -20$. So in essence you should pay me 20$ to take that theme off your hands.

Ok... I lowered the price.
This theme was not RIPPED, but made from scratch to look just like TTGv4.
It wasn't ripped. It's a complete, fully functional skin.

Dont listen to these people. Keep it at $50, they think its ripped.

$50 is very low. I can't go any lower than that.
I need to buy an IPB license because I am getting am $800 custom skin from the designers that designed TTG's skin and XboxMB's skin.

The original price he had was $120, not $50.

And I understand that theme wasn't ripped. You can't really rip it since it wasn't designed for MyBB.
I guess you can say you converted it to MyBB, since TTG uses a custom forum software script.

No, they use the PHPNuke CMS w/ phpBB 3.

No... lol.
SPEED said it himself, they used a heavily modified version of MyBB / vB. I forgot which.

They use a custom software that is heavily based off of phpbb. herp derp you're both wrong and right.

You are somewhat correct, except it wasn't "based" off of PHPNuke and phpbb, it was MADE off of PHPNuke and phpbb.

I've even talked with PHPNuke devs before, that helped me while I was working with one of my projects: http://thetechlink.tk and they personally knew Telli, who is a PHPNuke and phpbb (bbtonuke) expert, and he helped make TTG's "engine" that is made off of these scripts.
They also had a theme.cfg configuration file in their /themes/ttgv4/ directory, but now it is 404'd, as I was stupid enough to mention it to Sean, the owner of TTG, on twitter when he used to be @vdr on twitter.

Also, this thread is going off topic. I'm wanting to sell this skin, without any arguments of TTG. Who cares what the script is that they use?

I highly doubt you talked to any of those people judging on how bad your coding is.

You apparently do since you're arguing about it.

Really? Well think again.

I'm RickTido on that site.

And http://thetechlink.tk wasn't coded by me... I used the PHPNuke CMS with phpbb... You can see the many core similarities between it and TTG, I'm not talking about the theme of it, just the overall script itself.

You can see that here:
http://www.ravenphpscripts.com/postp161210.html#161210

Montego, a highly respected PHPNuke and RavenNuke coder explains it can utilize PHPNuke and Joomla modules. He later told me via PM that he spent some time researching, and came to the conclusion that it is in fact PHPNuke using the phpbb 3.x bbtonuke. He has gotten this information from Telli himself, as they are long-time friends.

All the core similarities I see are the images and color schemes, everything else is that is similar is similar within ever bb. btw the first post on that thread you linked told you that you weren't even correct.

and on what you added

2. Every flavor of nuke (in use nowaday) makes use of a forum mod known as BB2Nuke

and number 2 is where your misconception lies.
1. BB2Nuke is what you could call a fork on phpBB software. It is heavily modded and changed.

That is telling you that Nuke utilizes phpBB

"I can tell you that it is not PHPNuke, but It does have the ability to utilize PHPNuke modules and blocks as well as Joomla modules and extensions."

This also back my point that it is custom coded and based on phpBB, which would be a vanilla version of PHPNuke.

You're right, I was wrong initially about the 403 file, but I was right about everything else. Read the the entire topic...

/END TTG ARGUMENT

**Now, I'm willing to negotiate on the price of my TTGv4 skin, if anybody is interested, PM me.

Might want to change the color of the text for us users on dark theme.

So you're saying you are buying a skin from a combination of Telli, Cheater, and Sean? Huh weird, because those guys made the TTG and xboxmb skins.
