Either use the Xbox 360 smartglass app and try to put the gamertag in your Bio, if it says it's inappropriate or whatever then it will be reset due to being vulgar. Or you can try changing your gamertag to the gamertag you want to check on Xbox one. If it doesn't say it's taken and just says to pick one or enter your own, then it's vulgar and will be reset.
