I don't know which way this forum is going to lean. More towards general discussion of Runescape, more towards the botting aspect, or if you're going to attempt to gain the 'marketplace' side of the dark underground, and that's the way this suggestion is going.

First off, look at RSBot. They have 200K members, over 80K active. The most active section is the marketplace. What do they do, and what am I suggesting?

Forum: Sales
Subforum: Verified Sales

The main forum of sales would be for any sales, GP, accounts, pins, etc. The subforum would be for verified sales, such as mod proof that the user has the Pin, GP, accounts, etc. Of course the people that verify should only be very trusted members, because of the value of the items they're verifying.

Forum: Services
At this time I don't think we'll need a verified subsection for services, but it would be nice to see some people start up Souls Wars, Goldfarming, Xfering, and other services.

Forum: Middleman
This would be a nice forum, and would attract some donations. Only people with a certain status, say Donater, plus a certain amount of posts, and a certain amount of time on RF would be some requirements.

Forum: Scam Reports
Subforum: Archive

Just like RSBot, and quite unlike HF, I believe we should have a LEGIT scam report section. I was so pissed off at the way HF handled scams, I do NOT want this site to be like that. Each scam report must follow a STRICT layout, with strict proof. Regardless of whether the user scammed or not, it should be archived so users that are looking to buy or sell can read them and see the outcome. I'd be willing to set up the layout if you needed. As always, a certain day ban and warning on their account for first offense, second is perm banned is my suggestion for punishments.
There are others, but this would be just to start us off. Like I said, if you're not going for this angle of Runescape, don't add them.

I personally think they would be a nice addition to the market place. It'd help give the members a little more credibility and keep people safer from scamming. So yes, I definitely agree with these suggestions. :nod:

Agreed. As many blackmarket RS forums have the same layout, we should strive for the original layouts, designs, wording, and structure. We don't want to look like we copied everyone!

Not really scare away, I mean if it works for other sites it works for us, but originality will bring more members in than just a new site with the same old stuff.

Yep, I understand perfectly. RSB hit the Marketplace on the nose, and they're getting 10,000 views a day on their ads because of it. If we can sucsessfully do the same thing, in an original way, we'll be the next best thing.

Agreed. We could always have ad space just for the Marketplace sections, get some views on them for server upkeep, and keep the marketplace 100% free. I'm sure people wouldn't care, RSB has like 8 and it's not annoying.. much...

That's a good idea. My strongest suggestion would be to put up fliers advertising the site in your neighborhood. In my opinions, that's brilliant advertising.
