Sex changes - Wrong or good for those who undergo them?

What do you think about sex changes, from male to female ore female to male?

I have been hearing some horrible things from some people about it, and it has sparked my curiosity.

I believe you are what you feel inside, and your body is merely a vessel. Changing it makes you no less of a person.

The thought of that makes me want to throw up. Call me ignorant but that shit shouldn't happen. You're born that way for a reason.

With that logic, if you're born with an extra limb or missing limbs, you should never fix it because you were born that way for a reason?
