Should comprehensive sex education be taught in middle schools?

i believe in this for the reasons that 1. To prevent teen pregnancy and STD's (by teaching contraceptive methods, etc)
2. To educate students about their bodies and urges but no matter what, in the world we live in today. Kids will learn about sex at a very young age. So we need to educate them now, and also we need to educate parents that they need to be more aware of what is actually going on these days.

Yes, I believe that it should be taught. There are too many pre-teens and teens getting pregnant now of days. If we teach them proper birth control methods then maybe this will lessen.

I always believe the role of education in building a solid foundation for the youth. I am for teaching comprehensive sex education in middle school. This is the best time for the youth to know what's sex is all about and to correct wrong perception about it and therefore lead them to be more responsible and aware of the consequences of this aspect of life. Parents at the same should be encourage to take part in this step to make Sex Education achieve its goal.

In my opinion, yes. As a mother, I can answer questions from my child about sex and I also want the school to help me on this matter. I believe children should be thought about sex as early as possible so they won't need to experiment that may lead to early pregnancies.

Yes,it should be taught to school. Through this teenagers will be aware of the efFect or consequences of doing it,and makes them to know that having a family is a hard job.

kids of this generation are much smarter and quick learner.they are even gaining maturity at an earlier age and know most of the things that we can't even imagine that they already know.so there is no harm in educating them about their own body in the middle school.it was there in our syllabus too.its good to be aware rather worried about the changes of their own body.

Yes, I believe that children in middle school should be already taught about sex education because the are exposed to different kinds of pornography in just about everywhere. What that see in the media, they can easily apply it to themselves and without this knowledge of how to protect themselves, then they will up as single, unwed moms and they will regret it for the rest of their lives. Parents and school teachers should be proactive in educating these kids because they can prevent a later grave mistake in a teenager's life.
