I'm not gay myself, but I'm interested in the opinions of others about this issue. Different countries have different laws regarding adoption of children by same sex couples. I guess I'm kind of undecided on the matter. Society itself is changing. But, the traditional family is still considered the ideal. What do you think?

actually it is against the nature law , gays and lesbians problem
but if we try to think about human's feelings, they have feelings too, try to think about it .We must not avoid them directly because their percentages is getting rise and the population is getting bigger.think twice about them .i think they must given the rights to live more comfortably.

If they had given the right to adopt, I supposed they will be given an equal right as well otherwise it is not fair. If they will not be given an equal right with normal parent (man and woman), then they should not be allowed to adopt then. Since, they are allowed, equal rights is applicable to them as well. That's only my opinion. :)

An ideal family consist of a mother and a father and this is something that gay and lesbian couples could not provide . A child has all the right to be taken care of and live and enjoy the blessing of having a family. It is the duty of the government to see to it that this right is accorded to every child and therefore, adoption is only limited to those who can foster the idealistic factors of a family. Gays and lesbians can be of good provider to the needs of a child but not with its psychological , emotional as well as social needs of the child. I am not in favor for these reasons to give them same adoption rights given to heterosexuals.

I dont think that gay couples should be given the legal rights as heterosexuals in adopting children because first and foremost parents consist of a father and a mother, a male and a female. A child need the proper nurturing when growing up and this is provided by the mother. A gay parent can feel like a mother but it really different because there is that bond made when the mother is still pregnant with her baby. And that bond could never be replaced by any adoptive parent.
