Yeah that is a good argument, But with that being said. It will lower the number of low quality post's and hopefully the arguments.

This is the worst idea every. This is a forum. You strive to make the forums active everyday. Adding that, will just make it harder. Trust me, don't do it.

This has been suggested about 5 times and Philly has stated every time that since it's a forum using text based chat anyway a shoutbox would be annoying and overall pointless.
