As for the second paragraph, I was referring to my own personal experience. The site I was a member of was a really nice small community. I was staff on there and really enjoyed the website. But then he closed it down as he made the website to earn a quick buck. So recently I started up the website again under the domain www.cforums.org and I also plan on buying the domain www.cforums.net next year when it becomes available. What I was asking was would there be any way possible to acquire the database for www.cforums.net and integrate it with www.cforums.org so that I would have the original site. Or would I have to contact the Admin that ran the website and try to get it from him?

I'm sorry for the long essay and you probably don't care but I thought I'd ask as you have done a merge with a database so hopefully you'd be able to help. I tried to get Omniscient to help me on shitforums.net but obviously the greedy smuck had no time for me in his quest for a mountain of paypal money.

That's why I'm asking you as you seem more down to earth and an admin I can actually talk to. Hopefully you understand what I've just written and can provide me with an answer.

If you legally want to obtain the database like I did you would have to contact the admin, and see if he will either sale it to you, or give it to you even free. Illegally you can hack it which I would never suggest. If you want it I would suggest just contacting the old admin and see if he is willing to hook you up. I am sure if he doesn't plan to do anything with the forum he will have no problem selling it to you since you sound dedicated on building the forum. Hopefully I helped you.
