Hi everyone,

I am almost 17 years, and I have to do 2 years of High school.
But, I can also move on to college, leaving me without a high school degree.
I will be going to graphic / art college FYI.
My mom doesn't want me to go there, due I have to travel 1 hour to get there.
So for example, I am at college from 9am until 4pm.
I have to wake up at 6am, get the train at 7am, be there at 8am. Get on time on school.

I kinda fucked up some years in High school.
Shall I proceed to do this? Or no?
High school degree more important then a college degree?

I will be contacting the college soon.

hey do what makes you happy, I know a few people that gratuated highschool and they are in programs that involve nothing to do with highschool. If it was me personally id finish high school, at least get a degree so if things go sour. You are young, you have tons of time to pursue the arts.

I would graduate high school first. Enjoy the young life and the good times and worry about college when you're supposed to be in college. There will be good times then too. Real good times.

I'd complete high school before moving on. This way at least you'll have a bit wider variety of jobs to choose from later. To be honest, there's not a ton to do with an art degree, but I'd still suggest going through with this in college after high school.

Maybe it is helpfull in to add to the OP, but in The Netherlands we have like a high school degree, a college degree, and then you can do a study, your college degree will be put at the things you need for your study, and it's at the same college.
Most of companies will accept it aswell.

Stay in highschool, just incase what you're doing with art/graphics doesn't work out you'll atleast have a high school diploma.

I have to study until 21. So I got plenty of time.

Do you really want be the guy who doesn't have a high school diploma? Finish high school man. That way you can be at social standards, and be more with your college degree.

Honestly, this isn't a good idea. You need to go ahead and finish high school. You'll regret it later on in life if you don't.

I'd have to agree with the general concensus, having a hs diploma definitely adds to your credibility.
