Smudge

this is a smudge i put a little more thought into than the one from earlier, no render was used, simple brush and smudge tool.

sorry its horrible. Its boring there is no depth no lighting. I mean you could do this in ms paint.

Sorry but this is a wonderful smudge, the fact that I told you I used only the brush and the smudge tool should have forced you to leave out telling me that there was no depth or lighting, also I am only a beginner in this type of stuff, so you should expect to see more of this. as for the fact that I can see the picture in my mind tells you that I know what I want I just don't have enough experience yet.

thanks kev, I'm going to try and finish this project tonight I have a wonderful picture in my mind, just kind of posting the starting picture atm.

Just a bit of input from my side, I believe my smudge is of great standards to be at the top of that page even at the current stage, you sir/ma'am do not have a Nevis eye. Obviously.

I am saying the cold truth, thats how I learned. It is common sense you cannot make stuff that is decent without experince.

Its like driving a car without knowing how, yea sure you can get it done but you might run over and crash a few people.

Meaning yea you can make graphics when your new but they will look like shit.

I understand you're just beginning to smudge, but smudging like that can get you into a habit as I found out when I used to do smudges and it was hard for me to adjust to new settings.

That was an example when I smudged for most of my tags and signatures.

They don't look that bad, but I kept producing the same thing and it got boring.

What I'm pretty much trying to say it try a different style, even though it is your first/second approach at smudging.

Try sharpening it and try adding a render to give you a starting point for more ideas.

I would think that Graphics Discussion section is discussion on graphics in general such as resources and what not, and I would think the Art Gallery is for showcasing graphics and getting the CnC'ed .. o:
