Yeah I know I was just paraphrasing, but hey it's impressive. Anonymous are one powerful group, and I believe in what they stand for. They promised to take sony servers down, and they were down. Whole of PSN was pissed, facebook has just lit up with tons of angry PSN users. This has probably cost Sony a lot as well, as all the Xboxfans are now going on about how good Microsoft are.

PSN was down for a bit earlier.

I wouldn't doubt if this hurt their profit alot.

It was like 16 faggots that all knew each other that did it. 8 got caught by the FBI already. Everyone as a huge groups stopped the attacks in early april. Plus, PSN can go online anytime now, it was their decision to stay offline and figure out what the problem was.
 
They hacked the psn network since there was a whole after the last update.

All they can do is go to jail, nothing else. I think it's pointless to take them down. I own a PS3 and I'm not sure if it was wether online or offline since I wasn't playing it today.
 
I'm not a console fan anymore anyway, I use it mainly for media(movies, music...).
 
I believe they are keeping the PlayStation Network offline until Tuesday or Wednesday.

I doubted that real Anonymous still exist. So called "Anons" from 4chan aren't the real Anonymous, they are just 14yrs old kids trying to troll or act like a pro. And they keep failing.

But, yeah, I never suspected that Anonymous can do this, I only suspected that Anonymous was gone.
 

To be honest, I'm a 360 user and I don't get why people argue about PS3 vs 360. They've both got advantages and disadvantages and they're not far of being equal.
OT: Anonymous are pretty cool for doing that, I saw a video from them before about it.
 
Yeah I completely respect Anonymous. You ignore the trolls who pretend to be apart of it, the real group members are legit. The group is rumored to be ran by professional IT Software Engineers, CEO's of big companies etc. Anonymous isn't tiny, if it was, how did they knock Paypal down lol. Everything they stand for I believe is right. A classic case is the Wikileaks Founder case. Did anyone hear about that?
 
I love them dude. I would love to join the group and if I ever meet them in real life.... OMG.... I would shat bricks.
 
Undoubtedly it hit PSN pretty hard from what I heard.
I think they are pretty awesome. I always like seeing huge corporations get hacked.
 
I do to Especially ones that say " We can never get hacked, but if we do, we can find the people who did it very fast." Cracks me up every time.
