[SOLVED] Delete threads

How about the option to delete a thread instead of waiting for management to do so?
Its just a idea sorry if it has been already posted

You say that however all you need to do is report the thread and we will do it. Their isn't a backlog of Reports either to do so it's not a problem at the moment.

I know that, I'm just saying it takes time for moderators so why not let elite/sponsers the ability to delete there threads?

If you want a thread junked, report it and staff will take care of it.

Im not saying you do nothing at all :O what im saying is it would be easier for both elite/sponser and mods if we was allowed to delete posts threads them selfs. It would save time for mods to carry on doing there job instead of deleting random threads and it would also save us times as we dont have to contact a mod everytime.

You can! Just go to full edit and at the top it says delete post, or you can just delete the OP and it deletes the whole thread. You can delete your post with the little red x next to edit

If we gave you permission to delete posts off your thread that aren't yours. You'd see a mess. That would be like you guys being Super mod.

You already have permission to delete your own posts at any time. It's the red x button beside edit.

I'm up for that, but it should be restricted to Elite/Sponsor only. Actually Sponsor's only, since they contribute the most to the community.

Edit: Nevermind, I thought he ment to be able to delete own threads :tongue2:

If you just delete the original post in the thread you delete the whole thread. I've done it to a few threads before
