Runescape has a wide variety of skills and quests to keep you occupied during the game. From travelling to faraway lands to fighting monsters to forging new swords, Runescape has it all! Woodcutting is one of my favourite skills because you can earn money with it at all levels!
First of all, at low levels, wood can be cut to make fires on which food can be cooked. Once the fire has died down, ashes are formed which sell for around 154 coins each! So not only do you improve your skills, get food to help in combat, but also get a hell lot of money! Till now I have made around 100k coins with just ashes!
Do you know about canoeing? If you have been playing for some time then you probably know about it, but for the sake of the new players, canoeing is a form of transport involving making a boat which is used to travel around the river Lum. You can even get to wilderness with it! The better your woodcutting level, the better canoe you make, so you have even made transportation a bit easier with training woodcutting!
From level 60 onwards, you can cut Yew trees which sell for a hell lot of coins and are always in demand! Although not recommended for making fires, Yew trees are certainly a good sell!
