Alright guys.I just thought we should let the community decide what they want as a theme as RuneGear would be nothing without the community.

This poll is basically which theme would YOU want.

Choice 1 : Black RG2 to be modified for the user-friendly interface that would be great.

Choice 2: The current "white" theme

Choice 3: whatever Glen has up his sleeve (thread under Announcements)

No, black theme is not supported as it requires extra work from developers that could be developing better features for the site. The site is getting a complete redesign and this theme is going aswell as it needs to fit in with the whole new website design and a different forum that looks different to the website does not look right and no the website will not be redesigned,again.

I'm telling you what is going to happen, if i was a "buzzkill" I would have locked this thread. The site is getting redone completely on the 1st of August so it means we are getting a whole new forum design to match the site, that won't be changing.

Honestly like half of your posts are anti whatever progress were trying to make or as you so eloquently put it in @"nekhz" leaving thread.

@Everyone complaining, reduce your brightness if it 'hurts' that much.

New theme, hands down.

I honestly want the black theme. why?
1. Sexy as fuck
2. Doesn't burn your eyes
3. Everyone loves black
4. Old style is the best style.

So yeah! Make a new sexy black theme based off of blackRG2

So what your saying is scrap the $500+ I have spent on the designs and just make the black theme the forum and match it to the website?

You all are entitled to your opinion but there's not way I'm scrapping my plans because some of the current members do not like it.

You need to remember it's a template, and anything can be changed later on. First I want to run the new website and forum skin for a few days and get some constructive feedback so we can make changes that way.

It's for the rest of the website aswell i think. Besides there are alot bigger investments going into other stuff soon

I honestly dont care on the theme that much. A white theme is more optimistic compared to that of a black theme.

Although one thing I would really like to see in the new theme is allow the users to change colour based settings for the theme.

Like this but more editable areas

A Purchasable theme for MyBB but this tells me it's possible and can be done to add a more personal feel to the site. Just like how I have a hectic wallpaper on my google homepage.

I hated the white one for about a day Then I kinda got use to it pretty quick but then again I also have my brightness turned down and I like it like that for all websites so yea
I also like the new one they are coming out with in August Only thing I dont like about it is the anime pictures at the top and the red bars or w.e you call them


So right now I vote for the current one
