Not saying I'm gonna sponser it.
And I've seen this idea been thrown around a bit, but why not make a contest where the person with the most referred people in a certain time period wins?

If people are as keen for rsgp as they were when the posting contest started then we should get a fair few new members.

U can look at my referrals iv been trying my best and recently got a new member, who is great at kilns, so hopefully that will help out members of the forums and maybe attract more

okay, im going to hold a 100m RSGP contest based on this concept.

Wait for its approval and hopefully they can code a system for it lol, similar to rg points.

IAS: This could work, but the members referred need to be active as well, If people are referring just to get money, they aren't going to try to make them stay active,or so it's just like getting spammers on the forums.

I will simply make a rule of: whoever you invite must pm me, contact me on skype or post in this thread, outlining that you invited them.

the contest will start fresh, all users that have been invited will not be counted.

and dont worry, i will create some unique incentives to prevent the issues you pointed out.

Refferal contest is super hard to judge as the users are worthless unless they remain active which is alot more work to track we get tons of users a day that don't post we don't need an increased in registered users we need an increase in active contributors.

I still think we should do it regardless, surely some will stay active, even if you make the prize money 20m for first, 10m second and 5m 3rd, thats only like $15 really,

Looks good and I like the rules you have set-up. Definitely a good way to judge it to make it better.
