I think "Lock Request" should be implemented into the reporting feature.
Agree/Disagree and if you disagree, why?

That's up to the staff.
Just report it for a specific reason and they'll decide whether to lock it or not.

Lock Request is to be used for your own threads, but there would be too many reports of other people reporting "lock request" on other peoples threads, which would be too much for staff.

So I disagree.

If staff can't handle it, then step down. I don't think it's too much of a job at the population of this size of a forum.

And if I remember, the "This thread has already been reported" feature was implemented, so not that bad. I could be wrong, I never been staff so not sure.

I'm not staff, nor do I see reports. It's simply unnecessary, the easiest thing to do, is this;

- post this: "Ok, staff can lock this now" and reprot that post as other.

That will happen during the expansion. So, we will be able to soon.
Also, I think that a Lock Request option would be good.
This way staff doesn't have to be like: "Oh its a other, wonder what it is".

They can easily see it's a lock request and either lock it or set it aside for a more important/serious report.
It is good to have as many options as possible that wouldn't fall under a different category.

As said before, you can always just PM a mod online or just say "Ok, staff can lock this".

Staff are required to read the post no matter what the reason may be. So either way it wouldn't matter. It may be implemented but it is up to TE to implement it.
But just report it as other or PM a staff member to close it for you.
