[SOLVED] RGPoints shouldn't count in contest[For Future Contests]

Some of you will deny this suggestion for obvious reasons.
Some of you will accept this suggestion.

It's obvious that some people hosting contests such as:

Guessing Contests

Only interest is to gain RuneGPoints.

The Elite SAI

The point of this contest is to reward members who contribute to RG and stay active.

Well, I can see that is does indirectly keep members active and contribute but you also said this.

You had contacted/spammed/paid random people to join RG in return for a favor from you/payment.

People hosting contests are basically giving away "less valuable" items in return for a prize that will gain them more funds.
It wouldn't be fair to wipe anyone that have already did this but I think this shouldn't be allowed in the next contest.

These contests should based on "High Quality Threads & Posts", among other things. These contests shouldn't be based on how much you can give away nor refer members to the forum.
I hope you consider my suggestion as a whole and not a past argument(referring to the Amped- situation). I am sure, someone will agree with me.


-Regardless of this suggestion, I think everyone should take note of how I formatted this. Every suggestion should be detailed and high quality. Does not necessarily have to take quotes because not everyone will be able to get these but nonetheless should be high quality.

Well, I think it wouldn't be "fair" to wipe what they gained from contests now and make them stop.

But starting the next forum contest that is similar to this one should not allow these things.

Of course, so now it'll only give the people that stay at home all day the chance to win. And holding contests contributes to RG in ways such as boosting it's threads made + posts + you're also giving accounts or whatever away to other members.

I agree with this, I get annoyed when the rg points contests come because people just spam a ton.

I noticed in this contest all the points were in that section, but since we were close to finishing I couldn't do anything. I'll implement it into the next contest.
