Seriously, the huge amount of smilies are among the biggest reasons I post.

So yeah, good work, Crayo.

I also think the smilies give the written text an extra dimension when read:blush:. That's fun.:X3:

Haha I also love the smilies, but since I have to be professional most of the time I don't get the chance to use them !

Oh, god, I do.
When I'm supposed to write something serious it's just so unbelievably hard for me not to use them.
I love expressing emotion, and the smilies are also very well made, so I love looking at them as a designer, too.

It's due to the wrong assumption that showing emotion by using smilies is unprofessional.
People tend to connect professionalism with shallowness, dullness. There's little room for emotion in that 'ideology'.

However, this is strictly a case of mind of matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.

To the common business world a more professional tone does not use emoticons to establish tone.

The constant use of smilies makes you look rather childish and your posts can annoy others.

But that doesn't necessarily mean the post is going to be any less HQ.
