Instagram has had days where they just randomly release names. You need to be lucky. @Rude can vouch.

Listen Here little fgtsssss, instagram randomly resets banned usernames for example @Love has been banned for 3 years now, @1d , @1 , @deadly are all banned usernames and will eventually be reset but no specific date.

They rarely reset them. Everyone who says they reset daily is lying. I know this firsthand.

EDIT: @user, you can't make number only IGs anymore. @0 was owned by someone who changed their username.

Also, during the copyright form they said, "you can't request 1-2 character usernames as you are not allowed to make them anymore." I would show you proof if I wasn't locked out of my hotmail.
